Quality

Over many years tattooing, we have found there to be significant differences in the tattoo inks/pigments that are available, so regardless of purchase cost we only use those inks which have proved to deliver outstanding, resilient colour (minimal fading with sunlight and/or time) and which conform to appropriate European Legislation, to ensure health and hygiene requirements are met at all times.

All needles purchased come from reputable sources and are individually prepsealed and sterilised to conform to UK and EU standards. Where specialist needles are required for Custom Work these are made in house. This allows the artist to prepare needles whenever the work dictates, using specially made ‘jigs’ these needle are made to closely mirror the movement of the skin when being tattooed, thereby reducing (if only slightly) the discomfort for the Customer and achieving maximum skin coverage in a minimal time period.

Health and Hygiene

Every Customer gets New, Sealed, Sterile needles, when these have been made in-house, they are steralised using an Autoclave (sterilising machine) which conforms to the appropriate UK and European Medical Standards.

Dragonslayer Tattoo Studio holds a ‘Certificate of Registration to carry out the Business of Tattooing’ from Kettering Environmental Services Department, which gives you, the Customer,complete confidence in our hygiene processes.
